When making withdrawals and deposits on Public, there are a few limits to be aware of.

Debit Card Deposits

Public members with a connected debit card can deposit up to $2,500 using their linked debit card. Once this limit is reached, a bank account must be connected either via instantly linking your bank or micro-deposits to continue funding the Public account.

Bank Transfer

Bank deposits or ACH deposits are deposits made directly from your bank account to our clearing firm, Apex Clearing. This type of deposit has a $50,000 daily deposit limit. If you need to deposit more than this amount, please contact Member Support for assistance via in-app chat or email at support@public.com.

Both debit card deposits and bank transfers can be initiated independently in the app at any time, with no additional cost to you. For both types of deposits, there is a 6-day holding period on the deposited funds, which allows time for the transfer to process. However, you may be approved to receive instant buying power that allows you to invest with no lag time before your deposit has fully settled.

Instant Withdrawals

For a small fee, you can instantly withdraw funds to an eligible debit card or bank account in as little as 30 minutes. Please note: This feature may not be available on all accounts. There is a weekly withdrawal limit of $5,000 for instant withdrawals. The limit will be automatically reset once one week has passed since the last $5,000 withdrawal limit was reached.

Standard Withdrawals

Standard withdrawals contain no fee and take 3-5 business days for the funds to arrive in your connected bank account. Standard withdrawals have a daily withdrawal limit of $50,000 per business day.

If you ever need to withdraw more than the above limits mentioned, please contact Member Support via in-app chat or email at support@public.com for assistance.
