For 24/5, there is a toggle option within your account settings. The toggle is a setting that controls how much of the trading day your charts show.
When the toggle is ON, you'll see price activity across the full 24-hour day, including 24/5 and extended-hours trading.
When the toggle is OFF, your charts only show the regular trading session (9:30 AM–4:00 PM ET).
Is the toggle on by default?
Yes. It's ON by default so you can see the full picture of 24/5 trading activity. You can switch it off any time in your settings, and your preference applies across the app.
Does the toggle affect crypto?
No. Crypto already trades 24/7, so crypto charts always show the full day regardless of your toggle setting. You won't see a toggle option on crypto charts.
What's different when the toggle is ON vs. OFF?
| Toggle OFF | Toggle ON (default) |
Stock chart hours | 9:30 AM–4:00 PM ET | Midnight–midnight ET |
Extended-hours prices shown? | No | Yes |
Crypto chart hours | Midnight–midnight (always) | Midnight–midnight (always)

Why would I want to turn it off?
Some members prefer a cleaner view that matches the standard trading day — this lines up with how prices are reported in the news, on tax documents, and by market indexes. Extended-hours trading also tends to have lower liquidity and bigger price swings, so if you'd rather not factor that into your view, turning the toggle off gives you a simpler, regular-hours-only chart.
Why does my stock's chart line sometimes start above or below the dotted reference line?
The dotted line marks the stock's previous 4:00 PM ET closing price — that's the fixed starting point we use for calculating your daily return. When the toggle is ON, your chart starts at midnight, but 24/5 trading may have already pushed the price up or down before the chart even begins.
It is normal to see the line start slightly off from the dotted marker. The gap is simply showing you real 24/5 price movement. If you'd rather see everything line up cleanly at the open, turn the toggle off.
Why is the chart green or red?
Chart color reflects whether the most current price is above (green) or below (red) the reference price, which is the same reference price used for your 1-day return.
