Price alerts help you track price movements for stocks and cryptos throughout the day. When you have Price Alerts turned on, you will receive a push notification letting you know when there is a significant upward or downward movement for a stock or crypto that is either in your portfolio or on your watchlist.
For stocks, alerts are triggered by movement of more than 4.5% in either direction.
For cryptos, alerts are triggered by movement of more than 5% in either direction.
To toggle price alerts on or off:
Select your Profile Icon in the top left corner
Scroll down and select Account Settings in the bottom left
Scroll down to Preferences and select Notification Settings
Select Advanced Settings
Price Alerts are at the very bottom and can be toggled on or off for both stocks and cryptos
Things to keep in mind:
You can toggle Price Alerts on and off for stocks and cryptos separately, but can't enable or disable them for individual stocks or cryptos. This means you will receive price alerts for either all of your stocks or none of your stocks or all of your cryptos or none of your cryptos.
Public Premium members, however, have the ability to customize price alerts, either setting the threshold of movement or a specific price target for individual stocks and cryptos. To sign up for access to Public Premium, you can join directly in the app!
