How do I cancel a deposit?

If you'd ever like to cancel a pending deposit, you will need to reach out to the support team via the in-app chat or via our email at support@public.com.

When you submit your request to cancel a pending deposit, the request will be completed on a best-effort basis, and the earlier you reach out to our support team, the better. Providing the date and amount in your message will help expedite the process.

Please note that for debit card deposits, we are unable to cancel deposits. Since funds deposited via debit card are instantly available as buying power, we are not able to cancel those deposits once you initiate them.

The good news is, once those funds settle in your Public account, you can absolutely withdraw them back to a connected bank account.
