How do I disable Margin investing?
When disabling margin investing, you have two options:
Convert your account type to a cash account
Disable margin investing, but maintain a margin account (meaning no leverage or credit will be offered)
To disable Margin Lending:
In-App:
● Select the Menu icon ≡ , the icon in the top left corner
● Tap Account Settings
● Scroll down to Investment Settings and click on Margin Management
● Click on Turn off margin investing or Request to switch to cash account
On Public.com Web:
● Select the Menu icon ≡ , the icon in the top right corner
● Tap Settings and Privacy
● Under Account click on Margin Management
● Click on Turn off margin investing or Request to switch to cash account
