Public’s Bond Account provides exposure to a set of 10 pre-selected high-yield and investment-grade bonds. Each bond will pay interest semi-annually, generating income in your Portfolio throughout the year. This provides a simple way to build a diversified bond portfolio and lock in your yield. Bonds are selected to create a balanced portfolio of medium-term corporate bonds in a streamlined process. You can learn more about the selection here.

For members who are interested in curating their own Bond portfolio or have specific investment goals not met by the Bond Account, you can find corporate bonds and Treasuries directly in your Public Brokerage account through this link.

Some members may choose to allocate parts of their portfolio to the Bond Account and also invest in individual bond or treasury positions. At Public, we aim to provide multiple ways to invest and earn Yield based on your individual goals and investment strategy.

You can also check out some of our other yield options such as High Yield Cash Accounts more information on HYCA here, and Treasury accounts by learning more here.

For further questions regarding your Bond Account or our other Yield options on Public, please contact Member Support via in-app chat or email at support@public.com.
