How is income calculated in the Income Hub?
Updated over 4 months ago

With the Income Hub, you will be able to track your multi-asset investment income from dividend stocks, bonds, yield accounts, and more, all in one-place.

Income includes dividends from equities, US government and corporate bonds interest (including bonds directly held in your portfolio or in your Treasury and Bond Accounts), high-yield cash account interest, and interest from royalty payments, securities lending, and brokerage cash.

The total income displayed for the selected time-period may include both received and estimated income. Received income* is the actual income you’ve already received from dividends and/or interest payments. Estimated income is any potential income that you have not yet received but can expect to receive in the next 12 months based on your current holdings. Estimated income may change based on the underlying positions you hold, differences between expected and actual income, and market conditions.

Your income will only include interest and dividends from products you are currently invested in or were previously invested in.

You will find your Income on the Portfolio Page:

  1. When opening the app, go to the first bottom tab to access your Portfolio

  2. At the top of your screen, you will see a tab titled ‘Income’ next to Return, Value, and Allocation

  3. Tap on ‘Income’ to explore your actual received income and estimated future income by year and month

  4. To explore your ‘Income’ further, tap on ‘View Income Hub’ to visit the full Income Hub, where you will be able to understand your primary income drivers by viewing by asset class, income type, and/or underlying asset

* Except for income received from your Treasury Account, which is calculated as the total gains earned within your Jiko brokerage account over the applicable time period and includes both interest and capital gains less fees paid.
