We’re building an investing experience for all people, and that means providing flexibility when it comes to where and how our members invest and explore new ideas. As such, Public members can now manage their portfolio, make trades, and participate in community conversations from the web!

  • Head to Public.com/login and sign in to your Public account.

  • Buy and sell stock, funds, and cryptos on the web as you would via the mobile app.

  • View your portfolio performance from the convenience of your web browser. You can see your portfolio in aggregate, or dive into individual positions to view their performance over time.

  • Use the search bar at the top of the screen to explore stocks, funds, and cryptos and find other investors in the community. You can also search #Tags to find targeted conversations.

    • Tapping into a stock or crypto page gives you key information and recent news articles, just the same as in the mobile app.

  • Join conversations happening in the community. You can comment on posts the same way you would in the mobile app.

What do I do if I can’t remember my login information/ password?

How do I contact Support on the web?

To contact or chat directly with Support on the web:

  1. Tap your profile icon in the top right corner

  2. Select Settings and Privacy

  3. Select Contact Support

Why can’t I view the Public Calendar / start a group chat / edit my profile bio / etc?

Some features from our mobile app aren’t available yet via web browser, as we are continuing to roll out updates to the web experience in the coming months. For the full Public experience, download the mobile app: public.com

Why can’t I place a Limit Order on the web?

Can you deposit money to your Public account on the web?

If you have linked a bank account on the mobile app, you can deposit money via ACH or debit transfer. If you have not linked a bank account on the mobile app, you can deposit money via debit transfer only. Please note that we are continuing to roll out updates and add new features to the web experience in the coming months.

Can I tip when I use Public on the web?

Yes. Members can choose to add an optional tip to stock trades made on the web, just as they would in the mobile app.
