We’re continually adding new features to our platform to help you be a better investor, and today, we’re sharing new updates to Public for Web, our web-based portfolio management experience.
The updates give you even more ways to keep tabs on your portfolio and customize how you invest in stocks, funds, and cryptos on Public.
See detailed metrics alongside the bigger picture. The new web dashboard offers an enhanced portfolio view, with customized ways to track your positions over time. You can sort your portfolio view by asset name, asset price, daily change, all-time change, or percentage of total holdings. Tap to easily buy and sell stock, funds, and crypto.
Compare portfolio performance to key market indicators. We made it easy to see your performance over time as compared to major market index ETFs, including the S&P 500, Nasdaq, Dow Jones, and Russell 2000. Tap on a time frame to see how your portfolio stacks up.
Access personalized news and alerts. We’ve added personalized alerts to Public for Web so you can dig deeper into information relevant to your portfolio and Watchlist. For members looking to stay up-to-date on trends in the market beyond their own portfolio, we’ve also included Market Movers to highlight real-time news as it happens. Finally, the Earnings & Events calendar gives you a view of what’s ahead, including upcoming earnings calls and Public Town Halls.
Keep tabs on your diversification. Lastly, you can now see how your portfolio is split across stocks, funds, and crypto assets, making it easy to track your diversification strategy as you add to your portfolio.
With the updated web experience, you can move seamlessly between your portfolio dashboard, community feed, and message inbox from the left-hand sidebar. Engage in conversations with other members in the community tab, and search for hashtags around conversations and topics you’re interested in.
You can also use the search bar at the top of the screen to explore stocks, funds, cryptos, and other investors in the community. As always, tapping into a stock or crypto page provides key information and relevant news articles.

Why can’t I access certain features via web browser?
Some features from our mobile app aren’t available yet via web browser, as we are continually rolling out updates.
