Managing a portfolio while understanding the news and trends related to the assets you own can help you level up your skills—whether you’re a novice or sophisticated investor.
We’re continually adding new features to our platform to help you be a better investor, and to that end we have launched Public for Web, our web-based portfolio management experience.
Our website offers a new method for investors to access their account, and the markets. All of the basic features available on the app can be found on the website as well, with a few exceptions:
Dividend Reinvestment: If you want to save your dividends or reinvest them automatically, that setting can be changed in the mobile app or by reaching out to the Support team through the Chat or by email at support@public.com.
Profile Customization: Profile pictures are an easy way to customize your account, but this feature is currently only available on the app.
With the updated web experience, you can move seamlessly between your portfolio dashboard and message inbox from the left-hand sidebar.
For our Premium members, the desktop website comes with access to advanced charts and other customizable features.
You can also use the search bar at the top of the screen to explore stocks, funds, and crypto coins. As always, tapping into a stock or crypto page provides key information and relevant news articles.
Head to Public.com/login to check out the new web experience.
What do I do if I can’t remember my login information/ password?
Click “Forgot your password?” on the login page.
How do I contact Support on the web?
To contact or chat directly with Support on the web:
Click on the Menu Icon ≡in the top right corner
Select “❔Help Center”
Why can’t I access certain features via web browser?
Some features from our mobile app aren’t available yet via web browser, as we are continually rolling out updates.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to our experienced Member Support team using the Chat or via email at support@public.com.
