A brokerage account transfer typically takes up to 10 business days. This is dependent on a few factors, including the firm you're transferring from. If you have any questions at all about the transfer process or if it is taking longer than expected, you can always reach out to your Member Support team and we'll be happy to check on it for you.
It's important to note that when a transfer is in progress, your positions will leave your delivering account and later appear in your Public account. Your delivering firm may restrict your account, in order to process the transfer without delay or rejection. Don't worry, this is perfectly normal and means the transfer is nearing completion.
To access your account transfer status:
Select the icon with 3 lines on it in the top left corner
Scroll down and select Account Settings in the bottom left
Under the Account section, tap on 'Transfer my stocks to Public'
There you can see the status of your transfer.
If your account status says rejected or it has been more than 7 to 10 business days since you requested your transfer, please let us know and we will be happy to look into it further for you.
