How are 15 Minute Markets different from other Prediction Markets?

15 Minute Markets use the same basic idea as other prediction markets: you take a position on whether a specified outcome will occur.

The main difference is duration and frequency.

  • Traditional prediction markets may take days, weeks, or months to resolve, such as an interest rate decision or an election result.

  • 15 Minute Markets focus on short-term price movements, with a defined 15-minute window and a new market opening every 15 minutes.

This lets you express a short-term view on an asset’s price without purchasing the asset itself. Because these markets resolve so quickly, changes in the underlying price can have a significant impact on a contract’s value.
