You can withdraw any time to redeem funds from your Treasury Account. There is not a minimum withdrawal amount.
To sell from your Treasury Account:
Tap on Withdraw at the bottom of your Treasury Account portfolio
Enter the amount desired or tap “Withdraw All”
Tap Next
Tap Confirm
When withdrawing from your Treasury account, Public will first use the available cash to fulfill the sell amount requested. If there is not enough cash available for the amount of the withdrawal, Public will sell the bonds in your portfolio in increments of $100 par value, according to the following sell order methodology:
Public will attempt to fulfill the entire withdrawal by using the cash balance in your Treasury Account. If you attempt to withdraw an amount greater than the cash balance, Public will sell bonds to raise sufficient funds. Public will sell treasuries in a way that attempts to keep the allocation as close to the current allocation as is reasonable. Normal treasury fees and markups will apply. The resulting cash balances may be more or less depending on the amount of the bond sold. The resulting yield of the portfolio may also change as the composition of the account changes.
Once sold, the funds will need to settle and the proceeds will be transferred back to your Public Brokerage account for reinvestment or withdrawal.
