We do not allow day-trading on our platform. A day-trade is defined as the purchase and sale of a single stock or ETF within a single trading session. You can learn more about the differences between day-trading and investing here.
Members who make a day-trade will receive a warning on their account. If you make a day-trade three times, on the fourth time, your account will enter a “sell only” state and you could face further restrictions on your account. If this has happened to you and you have questions, please contact email@example.com or use our in-app chat in the Settings tab.
Nearly three-fourths of our members define themselves as long-term investors. Given our audience, as well as our commitment to building a safe space for novice investors to actively learn about the stock market, we focus on providing tools to support investors with a longer-term approach.
