How do I mark my deposit as a prior year's contribution?
How do I mark my deposit as a prior year's contribution?

When contributing to your IRA, the ‘Contribution tax year’ will always default to the current tax year. However, you can make contributions for previous years up until the tax deadline of the current tax year.

For example, if it is March, and you would like to contribute for the previous tax year, you would simply tap on the contribution year before making a deposit and you will have the ability to change it to the prior year.

If a prior year contribution is eligible at the time of deposit, you will be able to select the contribution tax year listed on the deposit screen and change it from the current year.
