What is the minimum amount of funding?

Treasury Accounts require a minimum and subsequent funding amount of at least $100 as investments in T-bills are made in ~$100 increments. Aggregate funds in your Treasury Account of less than $100 will remain in your Treasury Account as cash.

You are able to purchase T-bills with funds initiated from your funding source up to your instant deposit limit or you can purchase using your available buying power. Your Treasury Account, including T-bills and uninvested cash, is SIPC-insured up to $500k. Because it is an investment account, it is not FDIC-insured, as FDIC insurance only applies to bank accounts.

What is the maximum amount I can buy?
There is no maximum funding amount into your Treasury account. If you wish to deposit more than $50,000, please contact our Member Support team to discuss your transfer options.

Our member support team is available via in-app chat or email at support@public.com.
